Tropicália was a Brazilian art movement arising in the late sixties which encompassed music, theatre, poetry and other art forms. This movement was influenced by poesia concreta, a genre of Brazilian avant-garde poetry and it became associated with the movements of musical expression in Brasil and elsewhere. Tropicália became a popular mixture of bossa nova, rock & roll, African music and even Portuguese fade. It is not surprising that this famous art and culture movement has been the inspiration for this beautiful collection. Observe the superb lines of the palm leaves and the wonderful play of natural colors.
